Privacy Policy

RouterX is designed to collect as little as possible. This policy explains what limited data the documentation, API, and SDK touch — and what they deliberately do not.

The short version

No account is required. The quoting API needs no keys and does not ask for personal information. We do not sell data, and we cannot access your wallet or funds.

Summary#

This policy applies to the RouterX documentation site, the public REST API, and the SDK. It does not apply to public blockchains, which are outside our control, or to third-party services you connect on your own.

1. What we collect#

Request metadata. When you call the API, our servers process standard technical data (IP address, timestamp, requested route parameters) transiently to serve the response and protect against abuse.
Aggregate analytics. The docs site uses privacy-respecting, aggregate usage metrics to understand which pages are useful.
Optional attribution tag. If you send an X-RouterX-Tag header, we associate requests with that tag for your own analytics.

2. What we do not collect#

Private keys, seed phrases, or any wallet credentials.
Names, emails, or account details (there are no accounts).
Custody of any digital assets.
Cross-site tracking cookies or advertising identifiers.

3. How we use data#

We use the limited data above only to operate and secure the Services: returning quotes, preventing abuse and denial-of-service, debugging, and improving documentation. We do not use it to build advertising profiles.

4. On-chain data#

Transactions you broadcast are recorded permanently on public blockchains. That data is inherently public, pseudonymous, and beyond our control or ability to delete. Consider this before submitting transactions.

6. Retention#

Request metadata is retained only as long as needed for security and operational purposes, then discarded or aggregated. Aggregate analytics contain no personal identifiers.

7. Your rights#

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. Because the Services are largely anonymous, we may be unable to identify data relating to you; where we can, we will honor valid requests.
